They listen to inspiring stories and music and share fellowship with one another. Few words can express how positive this group feels about attending the conference. It is uplifting and informative as well as entertaining. Visit the Women of Faith website for more information (www.womenoffaith.com).

Committees

Church committees are small groups that lead the congregation in various activities of the church. Inherent in each committee is the opportunity to meet and socialize with other parishioners who we might see during worship; committee membership affords the opportunity to know people in another context. Committees usually meet monthly.

There is a type of committee to suit each person's talents and time commitment, from the ad-hoc Decorating Committee which has an interest in Center Church's interior decor, to the Church Council which governs the church. The Christian Education Committee oversees the activities of both adult and children's Christian Education. The Activities Committee organizes events and fun activities such as the Columbus Day Fair. The following is a list of Center Church Committees and a very brief explanation of the scope of each's responsibilites.
