The Outreach Team is pleased to invite you to a gathering with guest speaker Kathryn Buckley Brawner, Executive Director of Catholic Charities on November 19th after church in the small chapel.  Kathryn is a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Granby and works for the Diocese of Springfield.  She speaks frequently to groups in the Valley and has appeared on local television networks concerning the worldwide plight of refugees.

Kathryn is a strong and compassionate advocate for people who have been displaced due to war, natural disasters and violence.  She is part of a team that has coordinated recent resettlement efforts in Hampshire County.  She is eager to talk with us about reasons refugees flee their countries of origin and the challenges they face when they arrive in the United States.  We look forward to seeing you on the 19^th.
